Cherry Mobile Joins the Selfie Revolution with the Flare S6 Selfie

While it was initially rumored that Cherry Mobile will release the Flare S6 and S6 Plus, the announcement of the Flare S6 Selfie was quite a surprise. We’re guessing they’re sticking to what’s popular and trending, even among the competition.

The Flare S6 Selfie’s main asset is its 16MP front-facing camera, which was co-developed with Morpho, a Japanese company which specializes in imaging technologies. So can we expect better photos from this phone? probably. But we’ll have to see during our review.

There’s also a 16MP camera at the back, which should be almost as powerful as the one in front. The device sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and is driven by an octa-core MT6750T processor along with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 2,600mAh battery.

The Flare S6 also features Hi-Fi audio, USB Type-C Connectivity, and Cherry Mobile’s own take on Android, Cherry OS, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Selfie will be available some time this October, with an SRP of PhP7,999.
