OnRev, as in online revolution!
Just in time for the holidays, Cherry Mobile, in partnership with Lazada introduced the latest line-up of online-exclusive brand, Cube. Dubbed as OnRev series, the new lineup will be made available during Lazada’s Online Revolution Sale from November 9 to 11, 2017.
During the launch, Lazada PH and co-founder Inanc Balci, stated that with their partnership with Cherry Mobile, they will be able to increase the mobile internet penetration of the country, which is currently at 55.5%. Cube, Cherry Mobile’s online-exclusive brand, has an impressive line-up of affordable yet capable smartphones, which starts at PhP999 with Cube OnRev Astro.

Cubix Cube OnRev Astro
Cherry Mobile’s banner product, OnRev Astro, retails for PhP999. While the price is attractively set for those who wish to get into the smartphone bandwagon, it isn’t short of the specs needed to enjoy it.
Screen is a little small at 4-inches. This isn’t for everything, but it’ll surely be a hit for first time smartphone buyers. Dude, the PhP999 price tag is irresistible; I’ll even probably buy one as burner phone or a gift for my lola or tita.

If you fancy something with bigger screen and killer looks, then you might want to check out Cubix’s Cube On Rev. It’s a tad pricier than the Astro but its specs pack a lot of punch. Price is uber affordable at PhP2,299.

Cubix Cube On Rev: Max
Among the phones announced by Cherry Mobile and Lazada, this one’s my personal favorite. The Cubix Cube On Rev: Max features a humongous 6-inch screen with HD resolution. This is perfect if you need a mobile device to watch and stream your favorite art films. Its 3000mAh battery may be too low though for the screen it needs to power up all day.

As you may have seen above, all the devices run on Android Marshmallow and powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core processor. We asked further details from Cherry Mobile regarding the specifics of the processor, SoC and camera sensors. We will be requesting review units as well for us to test out.
