Just a day before Christmas, Cherry Mobile has quietly launched what might be one of the most affordable smartphones in the market with an 18:9 display, the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Deluxe, priced at only PhP5,999!
The Flare S6 Deluxe is basically a Flare S6 with a bigger 5.7-inch full screen HD+ display. It’s also powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.
Unlike the Flare S6, the Deluxe’s front camera has been somewhat downgraded – from 13MP to 8MP, while the rear camera stays at 13MP.
The Deluxe packs a slightly bigger battery – 3,000mAh compared to the S6’s 2,600mAh. It also uses a standard microUSB port compared to the Type-C port on the S6.
