A leak of the Moto E5 had just popped up. From the leaked image, it seems that it still has the design language of its predecessor. If this leak is legit, you may not be getting a bezel-less Moto E5 this year. It has the same 16:9 aspect ratio display and according to the leaked image, it seems that the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the rear as well.
Judging from Moto E4’s launch mid-year in 2017, there could be a fair bit of time before the announcement of its successor. As for the specs, the Moto E5 would most probably have a large battery and a MediaTek chip successor to its previous model as well. There are also rumors of two more variants of the device launching this time around. They’ll be allegedly named Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play. As for the price, we can expect something in the region of $120 – $150 for the base model.
