UPDATE (February 6, 2017): MVP Rewards was just officially launched by PLDT and Smart at Makati Shangri La. Both companies position the MVP card as the ultimate card that offers rewards and solution for financial transactions like paying bills, shopping and even peer to peer money transfer.

In the event, PLDT Chairman and CEO Manny V. Pangilinan said that,” Our customers are our most valuable partners and they deserve nothing less than an innovative and unparalleled rewards program.”

Here’s something that might interest you if you’re using products by PLDT and Smart. MVP Rewards is a rewards service by PLDT and Smart, which lets you earn points [as good as cash] and cash back via its virtual and physical card powered by PayMaya.

PLDT Group didn’t send me full details of the services, but based on its website, it lets you:

  • Pay bills on time and in full or load up
  • Earn points and get cash back into your MVP Rewards wallet
  • Reward yourself any way you desire using your MVP Rewards Card powered by PayMaya
  • Pay toll fees at CAVITEX and NLEX

MVP Rewards card may be linked to your PayMaya account. This means, that the card – apart from being the bearer of your rewards and cash back, may be also be used as a VISA debit card.  Also, PLDT and Smart are continuously coming up with exclusive deals to MVP Rewards users.
