Sony PS4

No signs of aging: The Sony PS4 is still console king despite being 4 years old.

It was the most wonderful time in 2017 for most people but most especially for Sony. The 5.9 million units sold brings the cumulative total sales of the console to 73.6 million worldwide in just 4 years after launch. It’s a way faster, popular console sales-wise if you compare it to the PS3 – which  sold 80 million units in its 7 year life span.

There’s no mention on the sales for just the PS4 Pro but at this point, if you’re Sony, it won’t matter which console is bringing in the $$$.

As for the games, Sony sold 55.9 million copies of both digital and physical copies – bringing the total to 645 million games sold.

These are great times of being a gamer. Game-on peeps!

Allan Abaca is an avid gamer through and through. Virtually, he is locked-in with his PS4 almost daily and has just introduced the awesomeness of gaming to his two sons.

Next in his sights is PC gaming. The platform which he nows considering going back to after a two decade hiatus.

Oh, and let's not forget the Nintendo Switch...
