HMD Global has recently announced the local pricing and availability of its newest budget Nokia device, the Nokia 2, built for extreme longevity with a 4,100mAh battery.
The Nokia 2 sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor along with 1GB of RAM, a bit underwhelming even for a budget device. At least you get expandable storage.
The dual SIM device houses an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, complimented by a 5MP front camera, which should be good enough for casual snaps. It runs on Android Nougat out of the box, and is upgradeable to Oreo.
The Nokia 2 will retail for PhP5,290 when it becomes available from MemoXpress stores, argomall, as well as in Nokia stores, kiosks and exhibits nationwide on February 9, 2018.
As a special offer for the Love month of February, you can also purchase two Nokia 2 units for a discounted price of PhP10,000 via Home Credit’s 6-month installment plan at 0% interest rate.
