Following the success of the A83, OPPO Philippines has announced the impending arrival of its newest smartphone with AI Beauty Technology, the A71 (2018).
The A71 (2018) sports a 5.2-inch HD display, and runs on a Snapdragon 450 processor compared to the MediaTek MT6750 on the 2017 edition. This one only has 2GB of RAM, but retains the same amount of on-board storage at 16GB with support for MicroSD cards of up to 256GB capacity.
A notable upgrade from its previous version, is in the camera department. While the A71 (2018) still has the 13MP and 5MP rear and front camera combination, OPPO has now equipped the device with its signature AI Beauty Technology, which as we all know, analyzes your face and applies the corresponding effects to make your selfies look more natural.
The OPPO A71 (2018) packs a 3,000mAh battery, and runs on ColorOS 3.2 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. The device will be available in stores starting March 10, 2018. We’ll keep you posted with the official pricing!
