Oppo is ready to release the R15 and R15 Plus. These devices are the successor of the Oppo R11 which was released last year.  The notch has been teased in the recent poster and the design and some of the specs via the TV commercial.

The spec sheet of both the Oppo R15 and R15 Plus has been leaked in Weibo, a microblogging site.

According to the image above, it has been confirmed that the Oppo R15 will use the latest chip from MediaTek, the Helio P60. While for the R15 Plus, it’s going to use the 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. Aside from this, both devices will run Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 on top. Their displays are also similar – a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 2280 x 1080 resolution. By including the notch at the top, the screen ratio would be 19:9.

The devices will also have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For the snapping features, both devices will have 20 megapixel selfie cameras with f/2.0 aperture. For the R15, the dual camera setup is composed of a 16MP and a 5MP sensor with apertures of  f/1.7 and f/2.2, respectively. For the R15 Plus, it will have a 16MP and 20MP sensor combination, both with f/1.7 aperture.

Batteries will also be different. For the R15, it will have a larger battery at 3,450mAh plus Oppo’s VOOC fast-charging feature while for the R15 Plus, it’s 3,400mAh with the same fast-charging technology.
