Today marks a monumental day for Samsung, as its newest flagships, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ have finally made their debut in the Philippines.
Launched during its event at MWC in Barcelona, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are at the forefront of the company’s advancements in mobile technology, and are now even smarter, and more powerful than before.
Both devices sport a curved Super AMOLED display, and are powered by the Exynos 9810 octa-core processor, along with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Their IP68 certifications means you can take them on any adventure, while the AKG-engineered speaker is now able to deliver sound that’s 1.4 times louder.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy S9 has a single 12MP sensor, while the S9+ features a second 12MP telephoto camera that allows it to zoom in with amazing clarity. Both come with features like Dual Aperture which allows for adjusting the camera’s aperture value for better low-light photos, 960fps super slow motion video recording, and more.
Both the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are capable of wireless charging, and run on the Samsung Experience UI on top of Android Oreo.
