We all heard news about the Huawei P20 Pro’s triple camera setup at the back. This time, Huawei is claiming that the rumor is true and it is part of their campaign for the P20 Pro. But what’s special about this setup?

Huawei P20 3

A unique triple-camera setup from Huawei

The camera inside the Huawei P20 Pro is again co-developed by Leica and is composed of a 40-megapixel sensor. Yes, that’s right. A whopping 40-megapixel camera that you’ve seen in the previous Nokia 808 PureView model. Next to this is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with “hybrid zoom” which can provide 3x optical zoom and according to our sources, both 40-MP and 8-MP sensors can capture a high-quality photo with 5x magnification.

It gets more interesting with the third camera sensor. A 20-megapixel monochrome camera with outstanding bokeh effect. It will be assisted with Laser AF and an IR-RGB sensor.

Huawei P20 2

Of course, it has a notch!

The front snapper will have a 24-megapixel camera sensor that lives inside the slim notch. The display ratio should be 19:9 with a 6.1″ OLED screen with a resolution of 1080x2240px.

The battery of the Huawei P20 Pro will be at 4,000mAh supported by Huawei’s SuperCharge at 22.5W via USB Type-C. Unfortunately, they’ll have to eliminate the headphone jack so you will have to insert your headphones to the same Type-C port.

Europe will get the P20 Pro with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, all other regions will get the variants of 64GB and 256GB. It is expected to have a €900 price tag.  Meanwhile, Huawei P20 Pro is expected to be announced and priced officially in the Philippines in the next few weeks. Let’s stay tuned.
