In a head-scratching video, Xiaomi teased its Mi Mix 2s with no product shown. Instead, we are shown two hands that at first, would come across as an unorthodox way of counting fingers. I wouldn’t have guessed what the gestures meant myself if not for the numbers “8, 4 and 5” that pop on the screen repeatedly. The video is in Chinese but with the help of our friends from the technorati, the video asks: “how fast is your Snapdragon 845?”
This question is actually a challenge to the flagship handsets of the bigger brands namely the Sony Xperia XZ2, Sony Xperia XZ2, the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+and the Asus Zenfone 5z that carry the same Snapdragon 845 SoC.
The Mi Mix 2s looks to be a contender with a reported 6.01″OLED screen, Sony IMX363 sensor, 8 GB RAM and 256 storage. Last year’s model, the Mi Mix 2, has been a hit and is currently sold out in Lazada. You don’t have to wait long though as the Mi Mix 2s is set to be unveiled on March 27.
This looks like it’s going to be another hit among Pinoys.
