The ROG GL503 series has been a staple choice for gamers, thanks to a combination of solid performance, cutting-edge design, RGB goodness, and a slew of exclusive features that make them a good value for money.
Now though, these machines have become even more capable, thanks to the new Intel Core i7-8850H Hexa Core processor. You also get up to 32GB of RAM, a combination of a 2TB HDD and a 512GB SSD, and a NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card.
The New HERO Edition in particular, now features a 130% sRGB IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, while the new Scar Edition has a 100% sRGB screen with 5ms response time, ideal for FPS titles. The GTX 1060 and GTX 1070 variants can even be upgraded to a 144Hz display, for silky smooth and crisp visuals.
The Strix GL series are also equipped with the new 12V fan with Anti-Dust Thermal Tunnels for better cooling, along with an updated version of the ROG Gaming Centre for monitoring system performance. Users can also toggle the new Silent Mode for light tasks that don’t need intensive cooling.
Lastly, Strix GL machines still feature the easy upgrade D-Door for any future upgrades that the user may need.
