Star Telecom Alliance Resources Inc., (STAR Inc.), the official distributor of TP-Link network products in the county, through its sister company First Telecom, has partnered with PLDT Home to offer Filipino consumers the first mesh Wi-Fi system through the WHOLE HOME WIFI Plan, which includes a 50mbps Fibr Broadband connection plus three TP-Link Deco M5 units. These devices all work together to prevent dead spots in all corners of every room, giving subscribers full Internet coverage at home.
Compared to the usual extenders that broadens the signal and expands the wi-fi range, TP-Link’s Deco M5 uses smart adaptive routing technology to identify an optimal path for data packets, allowing users to experience excellent connectivity.
The Deco M5 is a complete Wi-Fi system that uses three or more bands which act like routers. Users can place them at different places at home for seamless Internet connection of up to 1,500 square feet.

Our partners from STAR, Inc. and First Telecom also provide the needed local support further enhancing our capabilities to provide the best solutions for our customers.[/su_quote]
[su_quote]STAR, Inc. and First Tel are proud to partner with PLDT Home in providing the first local whole home Wi-Fi system.” said Michael Chen, President of STAR, Inc. “It’s an efficient and innovative technology and we’re excited to be the first to share it in the local market.[/su_quote]
Earlier this year, the company also rolled-out StarCard ‘Kios-on-Wheels’, a demo and POS booth so that affordable and quality devices from Starmobile, JUMPU, Starcub, and TP-Link are more accessible to the FIlipino consumers.
