After appearing in its Indonesian website some time ago, Samsung has officially launched its newest mid-rangers, the Galaxy A6 and A6+ for the Philippine Market.
Both feature 18.5:9 Super AMOLED displays, with the A6 at 5.6-inches and the A6+ at 6-inches. The smaller A6 is powered by an Exynos 7870 chip with 3GB of RAM, while the more premium A6+ has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, along with 4GB of RAM. Both come with 32GB of expandable storage.
For imaging, the A6+ sports a dual rear camera system (16MP + 5MP) that allows the user to add a depth of field effect to photos, along with a 24MP front camera. The A6 on the other hand has a single 16MP sensor at the front and rear.
While none of the two feature IP certification, they do have facial recognition and Bixby at least. The A6 and A6+ run on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top, and packs 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh power packs respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ will retail for PhP16,490 and PhP22,990 when they go on sale starting June 9, 2018. For more information, you may visit samsung.com/ph or facebook.com/SamsungPH
