When Vivo entered the mobile industry, the market back then was dominated only by a couple of names. In a matter of time though, the company has managed to place its own presence, by putting out products with game-changing innovations.

Vivo is determined to break barriers and introduce technology that will usher the industry into the future. For example, it was the brand that introduced a 20MP dual front camera on the V5 Plus, and a 24MP front camera on the V7, V7+ and V9.
Earlier this year, Vivo announced a concept smartphone called the APEX, which had a near 100%$ screen-to-body ratio. Its current flagship, the V9, is also inching close to that at 90%. The brand is also the first to introduce an in-display fingerprint scanner, giving users more options to unlock their devices.
The possibilities are endless, and there’s no telling what Vivo has in store for its customers. All that’s know is that there are 2,200 dedicated personnel for research and development in its R&D centers worldwide – in San Diego, United States and in China, specifically in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Beijing working on more innovations that will allow the brand to lead the pack into the future.
