For years, OPPO has been continuously introducing breakthrough technologies to the smartphone industry. Most of which will most likely define the future devices that the company will create.
5x Dual Camera Zoom
If you’ll recall, OPPO announced its exclusive 5x Dual Camera Zoom at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. This feature uses a telephoto and wide angle lens. The former applies a periscope-like structure, wherein its angle is rotated at 90 degrees, giving the lens an ample of space for a deep zoom.
This new construction also benefits dual-camera performance and at the same time, allows the device to be as thin as possible. The 5x dual camera module is in fact, only 5.7mm thick, that’s 10 times thinner than a traditional 2x optical zoom lens in other smartphones.
Full Charge in 15 Minutes with Super VOOC
OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge has been widely acknowledged as the safest and fastest charging technology in the world. The most iconic version being Super VOOC Flash Charge, launched at MWC 2016. Based on a brand new algorithm and a custom battery designed by OPPO, it allows a 2,500mAh battery to be fully charged in just 15 mins.
3D Structured Light + 5G Network
Back in January of this year, OPPO also announced the 5G pilot program in cooperation with Qualcomm Technologies. On May 10, the OPPO Global Research Institute in Shenzen successfully showcased the world’s first 5G Video Call using 3D Structured Light Technology. Along with 5G, these can carry potentially lifestyle-changing innovations in many areas, such as gaming and AR.
OPPO is committed to provide innovative application scenarios for new technologies down the road, with a particular focus on the needs of users, for consumers around the world.
