The first ever Taiwan Excellence Day at SMX Convention Center in SM Aura had its kick off today, and will run until June 16, 2018. The program aims to spread awareness and advance business cooperation with Philippine consumers and partners by showcasing award-winning products from different brands in Taiwan.
Organized by the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the event started with a forum titled “Smart Technology, Smart Living,” in which key industry players and thought leaders discussed and promoted the use of technology in the daily lives of Filipinos, in order to adapt to a society that’s increasingly becoming digital.
The brand representatives showcased their solutions for the consumer on-the-go, gamers, households, offices, and businesses. ASUS for example, launched their lineup of gaming (under the ROG brand) and consumer notebooks cutting-edge design, along with top of the line hardware. That is with the newest additions to their smartphone line – The Zenfone 5 and Max Pro M1.
Atop Technologies Inc, also highlighted its 3G/4G Internet of Things Gateway to connect and supervise multiple field devices. D-Link also brought in their latest products for consumer, small and medium businesses, and in the area of surveillance, while Gigabyte showcased its newest Aorus motherboards, including the Z370, H370, and B350 models, bringing features that can cater to gamers in every area of the spectrum.
