A leaked photo has recently surfaced, and reveals what seems to be the full specification of Huawei’s upcoming Nova devices. One of them is the Nova 3i, which has also been seen locally in Standees next to Huawei kiosks, with James Reid as its celebrity endorser.
According to the leak, both the Nova 3 and 3i bear a lot of resemblance to the Huawei P20 Lite, thanks to the similarly shaped notch. The Nova 3 runs on a flagship Kirin 970 along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the 3i houses the new Kirin 710, and comes in either 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of storage.
As for cameras, both have four. The Nova 3 houses 24MP + 16MP dual rear shooters, while the Nova 3i has 16MP + 2MP. Both have 24MP + 2MP sensors up front, the second is presumably for adding the depth effect.
Most likely, both devices will run on Huawei’s EMUI on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. For batteries, it’s 3,750mAh for the Nova 3, and 3,340mAh for the Nova 3i.
Huawei has been teasing a new Nova device on their Facebook page, so it’s possible that it will be one of the two, or perhaps, both? we’ll probably find out soon.
