The Find X, OPPO’s newest flagship with a motorized camera system, is all set for its Philippine launch in a few days – July 24 to be exact.
Launched just a little over a month ago, the Find X is inspired by one of the brand’s most iconic devices, the N3, which was quite popular due to its rotating camera. OPPO build on that concept, and came up with an entirely new solution to how a phone can achieve as closest as possible, to a true full screen display.
The Find X has a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display, and runs on no less than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. It runs on ColorOS 5.1 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo, and packs a 3,730mAh battery with OPPO’s signature VOOC flash-charge technology.
As mentioned, the Find X features motorized pop-up cameras which only shows up in instances when it’s needed such as when unlocking the device using the new 3D facial recognition, or when you open the camera app. There’s a 24MP front camera with 3D AI Selfie and AI Portrait Mode, along with dual 16MP + 20MP rear shooters with AI scene detection.
OPPO also introduced Omojis, which are basically 3D avatars that can follow your movement, and can be shared to your social network.
The OPPO Find X is now available for pre-order, and will retail for PhP49,990 when it becomes available in stores. As usual, we’ll be covering the event to give you the latest updates on availability and more, so stay tuned!
