The third iteration of the Xiaomi’s Mi Max has just been made official today, and is better than ever. Meet the new Xiaomi Mi Max 3, which promises to deliver outstanding mid-range performance combined with superb longevity.

The Mi Max 3 has an insanely huge 6.9-inch 18:9 display with Full HD+ resolution, and is powered by a Snapdragon 636, along with up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage.

At the back is the same camera setup as the Redmi Note 5 – a 12MP main sensor coupled with a secondary 5MP sensor for portrait shots. There’s also an 8MP front shooter.

Of course, the Mi Max 3 wouldn’t have the Max in its name without a massive battery, and this one has a 5,500mAh power pack.  It runs on MIUI 9.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is available in Black, Champagne Gold, and Blue, and will retail for CNY1,699 (around PhP13,000) for the 4GB/64GB variant, and CNY1,999 (around PhP15,000) for the 6GB/128GB variant.

There’s no hint of availability in other markets yet, but given Xiaomi’s push for expanding its portfolio in the Philippines, we wouldn’t be surprised if they do decide to bring it here.
