Samsung has just unveiled the newest iteration of its Note series. Welcome, the Galaxy Note 9, packed with a more capable S-Pen, enhanced optics, a long-lasting battery, and massive storage.
At first glance, the Note 9 doesn’t veer away too much from the design of the Note 8, with its curved side, and a glossy finish. It has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with QHD+ resolution. Under the hood is an Exynos 9810 octa-core CPU, along with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to a massive 512GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.
The Note 9 utilizes a dual 12MP rear camera, with Dual Pixel PDAF, and Dual Aperture, 2x Optical Zoom, OIS, and auto scene detection, which can optimize the phone’s optics for up to 20 different scenes. Selfies will be even more fun, with up to 54 AR Emojis.
Of course, a Galaxy Note device wouldn’t be complete without improvements to the S-Pen, which is now Bluetooth-powered, can be used as a remote to control music playback, your presentation slides, and your gallery. Tap and hold the S-Pen button to open the Camera app, single press to take button on the S-Pen, and double tap to switch cameras.
Samsung DeX is now built into the Note 9. That means all you have to do is connect it to an external monitor, enable DeX mode, and you have full-pledged desktop experience. You can even use the screen as a touchpad to navigate the user interface, use it for taking notes, sending messages, surfing the web, all while watching a video on your external monitor.
For the ultimate listening experience, the Note 9 has been equipped with stereo speakers tuned by AKG, and is the loudest for a Note device. Lastly, you can now use your phone for a whole day without having to recharge, as it now has a 4,000mAh battery. The largest, for any Note device.

The Galaxy Note 9 will retail for PhP55,990 for the 6GB/128GB variant (Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Metallic Copper), and PhP75,990 for the 8GB + 512GB variant (Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow).
