Huawei always has this history of pricing their premium smartphones way more affordable than the prices in other countries. Huawei seems to be continuing this trend with the prices of Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but we didn’t expect the prices to be this low.

Based on our computation with the launch SRP as the basis, the Mate 20 4GB variant should be around PhP49,778.92 without tax, and the Mate 20 6GB variant should be around PhP52,894. As for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the price should be around PhP65,354 without tax.

Then, earlier this morning, we saw this video:

There you have it! Huawei Mate 20 Pro’s price (PhP49,990) is the best one we’ve seen as it has the best bang for the buck premium smartphone. It almost has all of the premium smartphone features, plus the unprecedented reverse charging technology, and its price put itself superior to Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and even cheaper than the rumored price of the ASUS ROG Phone.

Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro get official price in Philippines, Pre-order starts tomorrowWe also got to clarify from Huawei that the Huawei Mate 20 variant they are bringing in is the 6GB version, so its price (PhP40,990) makes it way better than Samsung Galaxy S9 and the upcoming iPhone XR (PhP50,990).
