Huawei Explains the Technology Behind the Mate 20 Pro’s Advanced Charging Capabilities

The ever increasing demand of today’s on-the-go lifestyle has pushed smartphone companies to come up with solutions on how balance performance and efficiency in their devices.

As such, Huawei has seen it fit to equip the new Mate 20 series with massive batteries, and SuperCharge technology, that gives 70% charge in just half an hour. Both are also touted as the fastest wireless charging devices in the market to date.

huawei 1Earlier today, Mr. Yang Chengjum, Huawei’s Charging and Battery Expert, gave a talk about the technology behind the Mate 20 series’ fast charging system. He explained that the company’s design concept focuses on four aspects – Speed, Capacity, Safety, and Compatibility.

The massive upgrade to the Mate 20 series’ power cells are accompanied by nifty charging solutions – Huawei’s SuperCharge Technology, Wireless Quick Charge, and Reverse Charging.

Huawei’s SuperCharge Technology has been upgraded to provide even faster charging times. Now, users can charge their Mate 20 Pro’s battery to 70% in just 30 minutes. The 40W SuperCharge is also TUV Safety Certified, for your peace of mind.

The glass back on the Mate 20 Pro isn’t just for show, as it accommodates the new Wireless Charging feature, which gives you 30% charge in just 30 minutes charging time.

Lastly, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro supports Reverse Wireless Charging, which allows the phone to be used as a power bank for any device that supports wireless charging. All you have to do is place it back-to-back with the Mate 20 Pro.
