After the long wait, OPPO has finally debuted its first R-Series handset in the Philippines, known for sporting a premium design with innovative features. Welcome, the OPPO R17 Pro.

oppor17p 75Right off the bat, the OPPO R17 Pro is fusion of function and elegance, starting with the design, composed of the smaller notch that looks like a water drop, the slim profile, a body that’s polished with a dual-color gradient, its surface, specifically crafted to look and feel like satin. It boasts a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display.

Premium Features

oppor17p 91Under the hood is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, along with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It runs on ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo, and boasts a 3,700mAh power pack, compatible with OPPO’s Super VOOC Flash Charge Technology, giving you 40 minutes of usage time, with just 10 minutes of charging.

OPPO’s First Smartphone with a Triple Rear Camera System

oppor17p 34For imaging, the phone hosts a triple rear camera setup (12MP + 20MP), plus a third camera that’s used for improved depth sensing. It boasts AI Scene Detection, Dual Pixel PDAF, and Smart Aperture, which lets the camera switch from f/1.5 to f/2.4 aperture and vice-versa depending on the shooting condition. The 25MP front camera also boasts AI-assisted beautification and Portrait Lighting effects.

Pricing and Availability

oppor17p 59The OPPO R17 Pro will retail for PhP38,990, and is now available for pre-order in OPPO from November 8 to 23, and will be available on shelves on November 24. Those who pre-order will also get a FREE headphones worth PhP2,990. You may also avail a unit through Home Credit’s 15 and 18-month easy plans.
