ASUS Republic of Gamers announced at CES 2019 their new PNK LTD line of colored gaming peripherals. The line is composed of the ROG Strix Flare keyboard, ROG Gladius II Origin mouse, ROG Strix Fusion 300 headset, and ROG Sheath desk mat in a warm pink and soft grey combination.
The ROG Strix Flare PNK LTD is predominantly pink. Among the grey parts include the easy-to-reach media controls on the left are in grey and the detachable palm rest. The customizable acrylic insert still comes with the ROG logo though it comes with blank inserts for DIY designs.
It still has the per-key RGB lighting and comes with a range of switch types. The PNK LTD edition has the choice of Cherry MX Red, Brown, or Blue switches.
The ROG Gladius II Origin PNK LTD, like the Flare, is predominantly pink. It does retain the Mayan-inspired etchings on the side and scroll wheel with lighter grey than the traditional black. The detachable cable is also in grey.
It is based on the same PixArt 3360 optical sensor as the vanilla version. The sensor can reach 12000 DPI but can also be dialed back for games where a lower DPI makes more sense.
The ROG Strix Fusion 300 PNK LTD has grey on the headband and protein leather ear cups to avoid discoloration due to them being pressed against the face hair. The rest of the headset is in all pink with added pink to the bottom of the extendable frame of the headband. The retractable microphone blends into the frame on the right earcup leaving no disruption to the pink when it is stowed. The red accent lighting of the original Fusion 300 has also been swapped for white for better overall aesthetic.
It still retains the 50-mm ASUS Essence drivers and 7.1 virtual sound. The Fusion comes with two cables, a USB cable, and a regular 3.5 audio cable.
Last and not the least, the ROG Sheath. It maintains a 35” x 17” footprint as the original Sheath. Like the Strix Flare, they’ve divided pink and grey by using a bold line that runs from top to bottom at an angle. The top left of the mat is pink with a lighter colored cyberpunk-inspired pattern. While the rest of the mat is solid grey except for the pink border of reinforced stitching that runs around the edge to limit fraying.
Expect all four ASUS ROG PNK LTD items in March 2019 with pricing to be announced a few weeks prior to local release.
