RTX-Powered ASUS ROG Strix GL504 and GL704 to Arrive in PH on January 29!

asus rog rtx 1 1ASUS Republic of Gamers has finally announced the arrival of its newest Strix gaming laptops, now powered by NVIDIA’s next generation GeForce RTX graphics, featuring real-time ray-tracing technology for a more lifelike and realistic experiences and absolute performance.

Starting January 29, 2019, gamers can experience the next level of gaming with the ROG Strix SCAR and HERO GL504, and the ROG Strix SCAR GL704, powered by up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

ROG Strix SCAR

The ROG Strix SCAR comes in 15.6″ and 17.3″ variant. Both boast 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and sport splashes of camouflage, for a look that’s fitting of the best warrior in the battlefield. The SCAR’s WASD keys are accentuated. This makes it easier to find the home row in FPS gaming.

Both variants of the ROG Strix SCAR are powered by the Intel Core i7-8750H processor, along with 16GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD + 1TB SSHD, and can be configured with either an NVIDIA RTX GeForce 2060 or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

ROG Strix Hero

Designed with MOBA games in mind, the ROG Strix Hero sports a more subtle styling, composed of contrasting textures and cyber-text patterns that make it suitable for a wider audience.

The ROG Strix Hero enables higher frame rates in the lastest MOBA games and guarantees to run just about any next-gen title that you’ll throw at it, thanks to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. Like the SCAR, NVIDIA Optimus also ensures optimal usage of power whenever the discrete GPU is not in use.

ROG Zephyrus S (17in) GX701 – Cutting Edge Over the Horizon

The world’s slimmest gaming laptop just got even better, now powered by an NVIDIA GeForce  RTX 2080 Max-Q. The Zephyrus S GX701 is the first ever in the Zephyrus lineup to sport a 17-inch display.

Inspired by the original Zephyrus S GX531, the Zephyrus S GX701 sports the same super narrow bezel, and packs a 144Hz/3ms Full HD display. It now features NVIDIA G-Sync and Optimus Technology, and uses a PANTONE-validated panel. For cooling, it uses the same patented Active Aerodynamic System and dual 12-volt fans for a robust thermal management system.

The ROG Zephyrus S GX701 comes with 24GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM and up to a 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD for storage. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.

ROG Unleashed program

All ROG notebooks will come bundles with a metallic Eye Sculpture -bringing that extra zing to a gamer’s corner.

Availability

Both ROG Strix SCAR GL504 and GL704 laptops are set to hit shelves this January 29, 2019 at ROG Districts and authorized retailers nationwide, including the ASUS ROG online stores in Lazada and Shopee.
