The ROG Strix SCAR comes in 15.6″ and 17.3″ variant. Both boast 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and sport splashes of camouflage, for a look that’s fitting of the best warrior in the battlefield. The SCAR’s WASD keys are accentuated. This makes it easier to find the home row in FPS gaming.
Both variants of the ROG Strix SCAR are powered by the Intel Core i7-8750H processor, along with 16GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD + 1TB SSHD, and can be configured with either an NVIDIA RTX GeForce 2060 or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.[table id=246 /]
ROG Strix Hero
Designed with MOBA games in mind, the ROG Strix Hero sports a more subtle styling, composed of contrasting textures and cyber-text patterns that make it suitable for a wider audience.
The ROG Strix Hero enables higher frame rates in the lastest MOBA games and guarantees to run just about any next-gen title that you’ll throw at it, thanks to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. Like the SCAR, NVIDIA Optimus also ensures optimal usage of power whenever the discrete GPU is not in use.[table id=247 /]
