ASUS Launches TUF Gaming FX505DY, Powered by AMD’s Ryzen Processor!

ASUS Philippines has recently launched its newest gaming laptop under the TUF Gaming series, powered by AMD’s Ryzen processor, and designed to deliver stellar performance and reliability, at a very competitive price.

fx505dy 14The TUF Gaming FX505DY, also known as “The Game Changer,” has undergone a series of rigorous tests, and has passed the MIL-STD810G standard for durability.

fx505dy 2It sports a 15.6-inch IPS-Level NanoEdge display with 120Hz refresh rate for smooth and fluid visuals, along with an RGB backlit keyboard for that added visual zing.

The trapezoid-cut design on its lid combined with a powerful dual fan design and an anti-dust cooling system all contribute to a longer lifespan for the device.

fx505dy 4Under the hood is a AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Processor, backed with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 5400rpm FireCuda SSHD, which offers better performance than a traditional HDD. Handling the graphics-work, is a Radeon RX560X with 4GB of VRAM.

The FX505DY supports DTS Headphone:X, with 7.1-channel virtual surround sound, an audiophile-grade equalizer, and various audio profiles to suit your needs.

The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY retails for PhP39,995 and is now available at ASUS and ROG Concept stores.

ASUS also highlighted other models, such as the X570ZD, also powered by a 2nd generation Ryzen 5 2500U processor, and an NVIDIA GTX 1050 (Starts at PhP37,995) . There’s also the VivoBook 15 X505ZA with a Ryzen 7 2700U, and up to an RX Vega 10 (Starts at Ph26,995).

The company also teased that it’s coming up with a product powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, soon.
