D-power is a popular accessory brand in Thailand, and has recently made their official debut in the Philippines. Today, we take a look at one of their products, the S26 Power Bank.

D-power uses the same packaging motif across most of its product lineup, a premium looking box with a touch of yellow and green, filled with all the information you’ll need.

Inside, you get the power bank itself, plus a short cable for charging it. The S26 is also very portable and should fit nicely in your pocket.

The S26’s diamond pattern finish certainly makes it look premium. Its most defining feature however, is its LED display, which shows the remaining amount of charge, in percent and a few other notifications. As you can see, the light is bright enough to be seen even when another light source is pointed at it.

For added convenience, the S26 can also be used to charge Lightning-compatible devices.

The price of being portable, is that you only get a single USB port. While that’s fine for me, since I usually just charge one device at a time, it could be a letdown for others. Power output is rated at 5V/2.1A, which is also pretty standard.

Verdict

The d-power S26 is a stylish, compact and flexible charging solution. Its LED screen is a nice touch as well, giving you a glance at useful information. Since the Lightning connector is built-in, you don’t have to carry a separate cable or worry about losing one. Despite its small size, it still carries a decent 11,000mAh capacity. The only downside is that there’s only one USB port.

You can get the d-power S26 from Cherry Mobile Stores and in Shopee for only PhP999, which is a pretty good price for what it offers.
