At its special launch event in India, Realme announced the more powerful version of the very popular realme 3, the realme 3 Pro, which packs a ton of improvements over its older sibling.
The realme 3 Pro builds on the strength of the realme 2 Pro, as a budget phone that packs quite the punch. While they do share the 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a dewdrop notch, the realme 3 Pro has the more durable Gorilla Glass 5. It also shares the plastic back but has a 3D speedway design giving it a more elegant look.
At the back is a dual camera setup with a 16MP main camera that uses a Sony IMX519 sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, paired with a 5MP depth sensing camera. The dewdrop notch on the other hand, houses its 25MP selfie camera which features what they call Advanced SelfiePro Algorithm along with AI Beautification, and smart groupfie.
Under the hood, the realme 3 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and an Adreno 616 GPU. It comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Powering the device is a 4045mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 charging.
Out of the box, the realme 3 Pro runs on Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. It also has a fingerprint scanner, AI Facial Unlock, and a triple card sim slot with dual 4G and a dedicated SD card slot for expandable storage.
The Realme 3 Pro comes in two colors, Nitro Blue and Lightning Purple. It will be available starting April 29 in India for INR 13,999 (or around PHP 10369.60) for the 4GB/64GB model and INR 16,999 (or around PHP 12591.81) for the 6GB/128GB model.
