Earlier today, Samsung gave us a sneak peak at the devices that they will be showcasing at the Galaxy A Event tomorrow, here in Bangkok, Thailand.
One of them is the Samsung Galaxy A70, a device that’s designed to cater to the needs of the emerging generation who want to connect, capture and share life as it happens, in the creative and collaborative ways. Both stylish and capable, the phone boasts a prism effect which shows various gradient colors depending on where the light is coming from.
The Galaxy A70 sports a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with FHD+ resolution and is powered by a yet to be disclosed octa-core processor, backed by 6GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of storage expandable with a microSD card.
For optics, the device is equipped with an enhanced triple rear camera system – composed of a 32MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture for capturing great low-light shots, a 123° ultra-wide angle camera so you can include more in the frame, and a 5MP depth sensor for those lovely portrait shots.
It features Scene Optimizer, which can intelligently optimize the camera’s settings for up to 20 different scenes. There’s also flaw detection, which can immediately notify you of glitches such as closed eyes all before you event shoot.
The A70 has an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It runs on Samsung’s One UI, which is designed to make interactions easier, smarter and more convenient.
“Today’s consumers are using their phones in a more visually active and authentic way – sharing their experiences and staying connected longer. These connections can only thrive when the most essential features allow people to enhance interactions through spontaneous, collaborative, and genuine connection. This requires an evolution. Which is why, to meet the needs of this emerging generation, we created the new Galaxy A70 – designed for the way people are connecting now.”
