Ahead of the supposed announcement, images of the DJI Osmo action camera has surfaced on the web. The company was rumored to be working on a camera that will compete against GoPro.
Based on the images, it looks like the DJI Osmo action camera will take on a similar design as most action cameras. It also looks like the camera will have a display on the front and back. The earlier will surely be handy for selfies.
One noticeable thing about the action camera though is the lens that looks pretty big. Big enough to make it protrude from the body.
The DJI Osmo action camera is rumored to have a ½.3-inch 12 MP CMOS sensor from Sony, an H2 image processor, and a shutter speed of 1/8000-120s. It is also expected to shoot 4K video at 60fps, HDR, and have support for automatic time-lapse.
The company is expected to make the announcement on May 15.
