PLDT Chairman and CEO Manny V. Pangilinan got the attention of the Filipino netizens when he tweeted his test and reveal of the speed of the 5G network of Smart. He did so through a 5G Huawei device.

Before we get into the device, we must address the elephant in the room. The speedtest of Smart 5G from MVP. The test, in what we can only assume, in the CBD of Makati showed blazing hot speeds that exceeded 400Mbps.

Along with a teaser of the 5G speeds, we also see the first 5G device from Huawei which we can assume to be the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G.
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is rumored to have a massive 7.2-inch AMOLED display with 2244×1080 resolution, and isreported to be powered by a Kirin 980 octa-core processor partnered with a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU.
Both the new 5G Huawei device and a look into the speeds of Smart 5G are definitely exciting news and with MVP showcasing both himself, one can only hope to experience both soon.
