OPPO recently unveiled the A9x in China. It is the slightly more powerful version of the A9 that they released last month. The biggest change is that the A9x has a 48MP main rear camera, replacing the 16MP of the A9.
While both phones pack a 4020mAh battery, the A9x comes with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
It does retain the rest of the hardware from the A9. This includes the Helio P70 SoC, 6GB of RAM, a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, and the 16MP front shooter. The upgraded A9 has 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.
The OPPO A9x comes in Meteorite Black and Ice Jade White and is priced at CNY 1,999 (PHP 15,181.44).
