It’s an exciting week for realme, as the brand to launch two new devices along with its relaunch in China – the realme X, as well as a realme X Youth Edition or realme X Lite, as posted in their Weibo account. The launch is set to take place in Beijing, amidst a teaser of cyberpunk art with every billboard indicating “realme x”. The device is rumored to have an elevating selfie camera, similar to the OPPO F11 Pro, along with dual rear shooters.
One of their teasers also indicated 91.2%, which is probably the screen-to-body ratio of the phone, and AMOLED, for an AMOLED Display.
A photo of what is allegedly the device’s retail package has also surfaced online. Knowing the trend in packaging for its previous phones, this is most likely accurate.
A photo of what is supposedly the actual device has also been posted by user 徐起Chase (realme’s CMO). From the direct translation, the caption says “I heard that some people have promised everyone to watch #realmeX# real machine, first feel positive~”. You’ll immediately notice the phone’s notch-less full-screen display.
In any case, we’ll be watching out for the launch, and will keep you posted with the latest details, so stay tuned!
