On its 13th year of producing quality TV’s, Samsung once again showcased its prowess for innovation, with the introduction of its very first QLED 8K TV in the Philippines. This product is designed to deliver a next-level, never-before-seen entertainment experience for its customers.
Samsung’s new QLED 8K TV is equipped with the new Quantum Processor 8K, which can produce images with greater detail and depth, in stunning 7,660 x 4,320 resolution. Available in 75, 82, and a whopping 98-inch screens, the QLED 8K TV lets you view your content, the way they’re meant to be seen.
AI upscaling technology automatically converts lower-resolution content into 8K quality. This is done by analyzing the quality and resolution of any image, whether it is in 4K, FHD, HD, SD, or watched through a streaming service, HDMI, USB, or even by mobile mirroring, and then up-scaling the content to 8K quality.
The AI upscaling feature also restores the integrity for even the smallest of details in every scene to deliver greater texture, and sharpens edges of objects and text for better clarity. This is combined with Direct Full Array Technology which allows for better contrast, deeper blacks, and brighter whites.
Bixby is a clever feature that allows users to access movies and TV shows, among other tasks, using voice commands. An easier way to search for content based on previous viewing preferences. Other features include Magic Screen, which transforms the TV into a beautiful piece of art by displaying content even when not in use. There’s also Real Game Enhancer, which adds more visual flair to your games, for a much more immersive experience.
Samsung also introduced its 2019 full TV lineup, featuring the new 4K QLED TVs that feature AI upscaling capabilities, along with a wider selection of 2019 Soundbars, including the latest ones developed with Harman Kardon.
