Xiaomi has been teasing its next smartphone for the Philippine market. Now, the brand has confirmed the identity of the device, which is again set to spice things up in the mid-range segment. Welcome, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE.
The Mi 9 SE features a 5.97-inch FHD+ AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and runs on a Snapdragon 712, backed by 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie, and packs a 3,070mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The device hasthree rear shooters – a 48MP wide angle main camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra wide camera, backed by features like AI Portrait, AI Scene Detection, and Steady Handheld Night Photography. The 20MP front snapper also features AI Beautify and AI Portrait Mode.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, an IR Blaster, and Game Turbo.

Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi MI 9 SE will come in two colors – Black and Blue. It’s set to be available in Lazada and the soon-to-open Authorized Mi Store in Robinson’s Manila on May 18 for PhP15,990. It will soon roll out to other Mi Authorized Stores.
