We have finally seen the latest Star Wars game by Respawn, and it never looked better!
The new action adventure game tells a story about of a surviving Padawan after the events of the Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. While its story is connected to one of the episodes of the epic series, this game tells a brand new star wars story that talks about the Jedi’s quest to complete his training before the Inquisitors discover the plan to rebuild the Jedi Order.
The story deeply explores the evil intent of The Empire to eradicate all Jedi after the execution of Order 66. As a fugitive of The Empire, the Jedi Padawan must do whatever he can to survive and explore his life with the Force by his side.
The gameplay looks stunning for a 3rd person action-adventure. It features impressive gameplay mechanics that true Star Wars fans would definitely enjoy. This, however, isn’t just any fan-service for fans, but a game made for those who wish to enjoy impressive and dynamic game details.
As for the gameplay, based on the gameplay showcased by EA and Respawn, you will be able to do the following:
- Discover and hone your powers as Jedi. There’s a skill tree involved, and while they didn’t show it in the gameplay, it looks like players will be in for a lot of surprises of what our Jedi-Padawan can do.
- A Jedi isn’t a Jedi without a Lightsaber. Yes, you’ll be wielding one, and players will get the chance to use however they can to defend and fight the Empire. EA and Respawn didn’t show if the Lightsaber is upgradable, but that’s something to look forward to in the future.
- Play the game with your companion bot, BD-1. His abilities are made to assist you, and based on the gameplay, it seems like BD-1 is going to be one of your favorite adorable bots.
