A new EMUI 9.1 update is reportedly set to arrive for the Huawei Mate 20 Series some time before June ends, and for Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X users, the update will also include Moon Mode.

Yes, you’ve read that right. That popular feature on the P30 Pro that lets you take fantastic shots of the moon will be coming to the two devices mentioned above.  It uses AI to take close up shots of the moon without the need for a tripod.

To use this feature simply zoom in at least 4x on the moon, and the AI will automatically recognize it and apply the best settings for ISO, exposure, focus and more.

Now, users of these devices will be able to show better moon shots in social media, though not as close.
