A few tidbits more of information about HUAWEI’s next NOVA device, the NOVA 5 have surfaced – It will have a 7nm processor , (which makes HUAWEI the only smartphone manufacturer to have two processors of such size). according to a post on Weibo by no less than the head of HUAWEI’s smartphone division, He Gang. This makes sense, as the Kirin 710 has been around for ages now, and is definitely in need of a replacement.

The Kirin 810 is rumored to be an octa-core processor that uses a large custom ARM Cortex-A76 core, and also houses a Mali-G52 GPU. It’s touted to have a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a punch hole design and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will house a 48MP main camera and a 4,200mAh battery with fast-charging support.
In any case, it’s only days before the official unveiling of the Nova 5i and Nova 5 on June 21, and we’re very excited to see what these devices have in store for us.
