With only a day to go before the launch of the much-anticipated HUAWEI Nova 5, a teaser has surfaced online, and showcases which seems to be the SoC that will power the device – presumably the Kirin 810.
The upcoming 7nm chip is rumored to have 8-cores, and will most likely have a dedicated core for AI functions. The Kirin 810 will most likely have a new GPU as well. Everything makes sense, as the Kirin 710 has been running the show for a while now, and is definitely in need of a replacement.
Another teaser also gives a hint that the new device supports 40W fast-charging technology.
Well, it will only be a matter of time before the actual unveiling. As always, we’ll keep you posted!
