First unveiled in Bangkok, Thailand, Samsung’s most powerful mid-range smartphone to date, the Galaxy A80, is finally set to debut in the Philippines soon!.
The Galaxy A80 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 730, along with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
Perhaps a design limitation, Samsung has opted to remove the option for expandable storage, as well as the headphone jack.
Perhaps the bread and butter of this phone is its camera module, which can function as both the front and rear shooters, thanks to a motorized mechanism that allows it to pop-up and rotate. That means you get the same quality of photos in your landscape shots and your selfies.
Speaking of which, you get a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera, and a 3D Depth Sensor. They’ve added a new feature called Super Steady Video mode, which minimizes shake in videos. It also shares similar features from the A70, such as Scene Optimizer and Flaw Detection.
The device packs a 3,700mAh battery, and is capable of 25W fast-charging. The A80 can learn your usage patterns to optimize its power consumption.
