In an era of fast-paced gaming, most gamers would want smooth and fluid visuals. Personally, my 144Hz monitor is doing well, but Samsung wants to take it up a notch, and unleashed a curved gaming monitor that not only has G-Sync, but also boasts a stunning 240Hz refresh rate!

Samsung Monitor CRG527 product 3The CRG5 (C27RG5) is a 27-inch gaming monitor that uses a VA panel with 1500R curvature, with FHD resolution, and 240Hz refresh rate, thanks to Samsung’s RapidCurve Technology, eliminating screen lag time and displaying ultra-smooth images for a more immersive experience.

Samsung Monitor CRG527 product 1The monitor has also been validated by the folks at NVIDIA, which means it meet the requirements for G-SYNC compatibility, and delivers smooth, tear-free, low-latency gameplay whatever the scene may be, at Full HD resolution.

Samsung Monitor CRG527 product 4Thanks to its 3000:1 contrast ratio, the monitor can also deliver deeper blacks, and its curved VA panel makes for a cinematic wide viewing angle. Worry no more about thick bezels, as this monitor utilizes a near edge-to-edge screen on three sides, and an ergonomic and sturdy stand.

The on-screen digital menu allows gamers to choose from a variety of presets that fit the genre of the game they’re playing. They can even create up to three separate custom profiles that they can quickly switch to.

Samsung Monitor CRG527 product 2The CRG5 joins the company’s lineup of curved gaming displays, which include the massive 49-inch CRG9 that boasts a 32:9 aspect ratio, a 1800R curved screen, and HDR1000. Its Dual QHD display makes use of Samsung’s Quantum Dot Technology for exceptional color reproduction.

The CRG5 is set to be available in the Philippines this August.
