In its official Weibo account, ASUS ROG announced that it will “conduct in-depth cooperation” with Tencent Games in order to optimize its games on the hardware (possibly the ROG Phone 2), in order to deliver a better experience. The device is expected to launch in China some time this July.
Another post on the brand’s Weibo account translates to:
On June 5th, ROG and Tencent Games officially signed, the two sides will play their respective advantages, strengthen the deep integration of game mobile phone hardware and software, and strongly launch ROG game mobile phone 2 (Tencent game customization), giving players a hearty, impeccable immersion Game experience.
Unfortunately, there’s still no information regarding the specs of the next ROG Phone, but still, this is big news, as it confirms that a 2nd iteration is definitely on the way.
