HONOR has had quite the success in the Philippine market, thanks to a portfolio of well-designed and properly specced phones and very competitive pricing.
In fact, on the last week of June 2018, HONOR hit an all-time high in sales at 40%, despite the “ban” issue. With that out of the way, the company shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Their next device to launch in the country is bound to shake the budget segment – meet the Honor 8S.
Honor 8S boasts a 5.71-inch FullView display for an immersive all-screen experience, utilizing a minimalist dew drop notch, for a screen-to-body ratio of 84.6%. Under the hood is a Helio A22 processor, backed by 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.
For imaging, the device sports a 13MP f/1.8 rear camera with PDAF, and a 5MP f/2.2 front camera. It runs on EMUI 9 on top of Android Pie, and packs a 3,020mAh battery.
HONOR is yet to announce the pricing for the 8S, but we can most likely expect that this one will be on the more affordable side, as its specs imply.
