HONOR officially unveiled its newest mid-range phones, the HONOR 9X and the HONOR 9X Pro!
Both phones look fairly similar design-wise. They both feature colorful backs with an X-shaped gradient. On the front, they both have a full-screen 6.59-inch LCD display, a pop-up 16MP front camera, and vertical rear camera orientation.
The differentiating feature of the two phones is the triple rear camera of the Honor 9X Pro, while the Honor 9X has a dual rear camera setup. The former has a 48MP main sensor along with a combination of an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor. The Honor 9X on the other hand, has a 48MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
Both devices pack the HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC which is a drastic leap in performance over the Kirin 710. HONOR 9X will come in three memory variants: 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB, while the 9X Pro comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Powering both is a 4000mAh battery.
HONOR 9X will be available in China in Phantom Red, Phantom Blue, and Magic Night Black for CNY 1,399 (around PHP 10,400) for 4GB/64GB, CNY 1,599 (around PHP 11,900) for 6GB/64GB, and CNY 1,899 (PHP 14,100) for 6GB/128GB. Base version of the 9X is on pre-order and will be available from July 30, 2019.
HONOR 9X Pro, on the other hand, will be available in China from August 9, 2019, in Phantom Purple and Magic Night Black colors for CNY 2,199 (PHP 16,400) for the 8GB/128GB variant and CNY 2,399 (around PHP 17,900) for the 8GB/256 GB variant.
