Lenovo Launches its Newest ThinkPads and Monitors in PH

Lenovo launched its newest lineup of ThinkPads for the Philippine market, to continuously empower the country’s workforce with the agility, durability, longevity and performance needed to cater to the demands of the modern workspace.

A ThinkPad is known for hallmark features that boost productivity – the renowned red TrackPoint, ergonomic keys, multimedia buttons, improved security, and other various intelligent features, augmented by outstanding durability.

lenovo thinkpad 27Heading the pack is the Lenovo T490, a powerhouse driven by an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, and runs on up to 48GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM.

lenovo thinkpad 57For those who prefer the ultimate in mobility and longevity, the X390 can yield up to a mind-blowing 17.6 hours of uptime, and is also equipped with Rapid Charge. A benchmark, it only measures 16.5mm thin and weighs only 1.22kg (2.68lbs). Its hinge also tilts to 180°.

L390 on the other hand, features a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen display for easier navigation when dealing with complex data sets at work.

lenovo thinkpad 39Completing the lineup are the E490 and E490s devices, which despite being entry-level ThinkPads still pack quite a punch. The E490’s Intel Optane Memory capability, along with optional two SODIMM, and dual-drive storage delivers better performance.

E490T is equipped with AMD Radeon 540X graphics with 2GB of VRAM and up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM memory, allowing it to handle just about any workload you’ll throw at it.

The new ThinkPads boast 8th Generation Intel Core processors which deliver up to 40% improvement in performance  over its predecessor. They also have an array of port for including USB 3.1 Gen1, USB Type-C, HDMI, and Thunderbolt. T490 and X390 feature ThinkShield, a suite of solutions for end-to-end security. E490, E490s, and L390, meanwhile, include a discrete dTPM 2.0 chip that encrypts data, plus a ThinkShutter camera cover.

ThinkVision: Clarity, connectivity, comfort

Lenovo also launched two new displays under its ThinkVision lineup – the M14 and the S24E-10.

lenovo thinkpad 6Weighing in at a mere 1.3 pounds, M14 is an extra display that users can simply bring with them. It has two USB-C ports that allow for connectivity with a wide range of devices. The S24E-10 on the other hand, is a 23.8-inch monitor that utilizes a near-edgeless VA panel with Full HD resolution – perfect for those presentations.

Both are equipped with blue light technology to prevent eye strain.
