OPPO has recently announced it renewed three-year partnership with the Spanish football club, FC Barcelona. To commemorate the new chapter, the Chinese brand is releasing a Limited Edition FC Barcelona Reno 10x Zoom.
The renewed partnership will include in-stadium signage, training camps, workshops for fans, plus creative online, and off-line fans engagement activities.
The partnership between OPPO and FC Barcelona started in 2015 and marked the first in-depth cooperation between a Chinese brand and a European football club.
Since the beginning of the partnership of the two, several limited edition smartphones have been launched. The FC Barcelona Edition of the R7 Plus kicked it off in 2015. It was then followed by the R9 in 2016 and F3 and R11 Plus in 2017.
This year, the recently launched OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is the latest to join that roster. The Limited Edition Reno 10x Zoom blends the team’s famous garnet and blue colors. This used an innovative heat-press technique to create a unique gradient effect. Overlaying this are two Barça logos: a larger blurred logo as well as a smaller gold team logo at the bottom. It also comes equipped with custom software, including exclusive wallpapers and icons such as footballs, garnet and blue kits, and more. Camp Nou is also within the phone through its custom ringtones that sample the FC Barcelona anthem and stadium sounds.
The Limited Edition FC Barcelona Reno 10x Zoom features most of the same goodies that you get with the regular variant 60x zoom, Ultra Night Mode 2.0, panoramic screen, and VOOC 3.0. It has 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage and will be available in select markets in Europe and Asia.
