A promotional image of what is allegedly the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro has surfaced online, revealing a quad camera setup housed in a protruding circular module.
While earlier rumors pointed to a triple camera setup, the image shows otherwise, and that the flash module has been moved to the side. As to what the fourth camera does, well, we’ll just have to find out when it launches. My personal guess is that it’s a ToF camera for better depth sensing and AR applications. But hey, it could also be a zoom camera.
As for color options, the image shows a green and perhaps something similar to a breathing crystal variant, and while most of its specs remain unknown, the text in the image clearly says Kirin 990, which was already expected. In any case, the devices are set to be unveiled on September 6, so stay tuned.
